Operating in a remote capacity with a required 6 to 7-hour daily overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST), the role combines core software development capabilities with advanced technical search engine optimization and generative engine optimization practices.
- The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across marketing, content, and product engineering teams to diagnose and resolve foundational technical SEO issues, enhance site performance and Core Web Vitals, and build scalable systems for programmatic content publication. This position is ideally suited for an experienced developer proficient in Python or JavaScript who possesses a deep understanding of web crawling, rendering, and indexing mechanics, alongside a strong technical curiosity about the impact of artificial intelligence on digital discovery.

- • Enhance overall page loading speed and optimize site performance metrics in alignment with Core Web Vitals standards.
- • Develop custom internal automation scripts and software tools for bulk meta tag management, server log analysis, and schema markup validation.
- • Build and scale automated infrastructure for programmatic content creation and publishing workflows.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional product, marketing, and content engineering teams to align and deploy technical SEO initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience

- • Working knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) principles and AI-driven answer surfacing techniques.
