Job Overview
- Revolut is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join its Product team in a fully remote capacity across supported European and international locations. This role centers on taking ownership of the full product lifecycle for artificial intelligence initiatives, translating complex technical capability into clean, scalable features for over 80 million global customers.
- As an Applied AI Engineer, you will define and execute the strategic product vision for AI solutions, harnessing Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and advanced machine learning algorithms. Working closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Designers, you will lead cross-functional squads to construct AI assistants and automated platforms. This position is ideal for an end-to-end technical practitioner with strong machine learning acumen, deep learning expertise, and the entrepreneurial leadership required to navigate ambiguity in a high-velocity fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- • Drive the overall product strategy, tactical roadmap, and execution for artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, including LLM-based applications.
- • Partner directly with Software Engineers and Data Scientists to architect, build, and deploy impactful AI capabilities.
- • Direct cross-functional teams in constructing and releasing NLP platforms, intelligent automation systems, and AI assistants.
- • Establish team objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and roadmap milestones aligned with overarching corporate strategy.
- • Manage operational workflows, monitor delivery progress, and perform risk assessments across the product lifecycle.
- • Present product updates, strategic vision, and risk analyses to senior executive leadership.
- • Deliver tangible commercial and technical outcomes for complex product lines within fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- • Background in building, releasing, and managing artificial intelligence features or products from inception to launch.
- • Proven track record in a machine learning or data science capacity, including end-to-end ownership of project design, deployment, and iteration.
- • Strong analytical capabilities, deep technical acumen, and solid commercial problem-solving judgment.
- • Advanced programming proficiency in Python, SQL, or comparable languages.
- • Practical, hands-on experience using deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- • Solid grasp of code version control systems, developer environment setups, and model deployment architectures.
- • Demonstrated expertise in advanced mathematical concepts and statistical analysis.
