Work Perform
- • Design and build scalable pipelines processing DER telemetry, meter, and network data.
- • Develop bidirectional integrations connecting core platform services with utility operational infrastructure.
- • Implement comprehensive observability tools including data quality checks, alerting, and metrics logging.
- • Maintain robust data models driving battery orchestration, flexible exports, and backstop events.
- • Streamline client ingestion pipelines to establish standardized, repeatable customer onboarding workflows.
- • Partner with grid modeling engineers ensuring seamless data flow between core engines and products.
- • Leverage AI-assisted software development tools to accelerate feature delivery and deployment cycles.
- • Promote engineering best practices through code reviews, automated testing, and active knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- • 3 to 6 years engineering production systems across software and data domains.
- • Proven track record building cloud native infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
- • Advanced Python and SQL proficiency constructing resilient backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- • Hands-on expertise developing data-intensive pipelines using dbt, Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
- • Demonstrated ability transforming messy, high-volume external datasets into reliable, structured data assets.
- • Solid software engineering fundamentals encompassing clean code, unit testing, CI CD, and code reviews.
- • Fluent leveraging agentic coding tools and LLM workflows to accelerate feature development output.
- • High ownership mindset driving technical initiatives independently from initial concept to deployment.
