Key Responsibilities
- ★ Develop and ship application features within the selected specialization track (Python using Django/FastAPI or full-stack web development using the MERN stack).
- ★ Construct RESTful APIs, implement user authentication, work with ORM tools, and design database schemas.
- ★ Write maintainable, clean, and well-commented source code alongside comprehensive unit tests.
- ★ Participate actively in daily team stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and peer code reviews.
- ★ Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, including feature branching, issue management, and pull request workflows.
- ★ Identify software bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, propose resolution strategies, and optimize application performance.
- ★ Author technical documentation, including project READMEs and API references, and present feature demonstrations to team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical proficiency).
- ★ Sound understanding of core software engineering concepts, including data structures, object-oriented or functional programming, and algorithmic problem-solving.
- ★ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to clearly articulate technical reasoning.
- ★ Foundational familiarity with either Python 3 (exposure to Django or FastAPI is beneficial) or modern web technologies (JavaScript ES6+, React, or Node.js).
- ★ Practical comfort with command-line tools and version control systems using Git.
- ★ High level of personal initiative, adaptability, technical curiosity, and eagerness to learn new engineering methodologies.
