Job Overview
- Revolut is inviting applications for its 8 to 10-week paid summer software engineering internship program focused on iOS development. Operating within a hybrid work framework across technology hubs in Poland, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom, selected interns will collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to design and deploy mobile features for global users.
- The position offers exposure to modern iOS software architectures and tools, including Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift, Core Data, Realm, MVVM pattern, and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Interns will take part in the full feature creation workflow—from initial user experience wireframing and interactive prototyping to final interface implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- ▪ Partner with Product Designers to conceptualize, prototype, and refine new application features.
- ▪ Support user experience workflows by building wireframes, mockups, and interactive feature prototypes.
- ▪ Assist in defining and maintaining cohesive visual standards to ensure brand consistency across the iOS app.
- ▪ Develop user interaction prototypes and refine software solutions based on team feedback.
- ▪ Build hands-on technical proficiency with the native iOS SDK and underlying mobile frameworks.
- ▪ Present project progress, manage assigned tasks, and document outcomes for global engineering teams.
- ▪ Participate in regular feedback and performance reviews to guide personal and technical growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ▪ Enrolled in the penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline (graduating in 2028).
- ▪ A practical portfolio showcasing individual coding projects or contributions to open-source software.
- ▪ Demonstrated analytical problem-solving capabilities and technical aptitude.
- ▪ A proactive, inquisitive, and goal-oriented approach to software development.
- ▪ Professional fluency in English alongside strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ▪ Full-time availability during the summer 2027 internship period.
- ▪ Capability to attend a local Revolut office at least 3 days per week as part of the hybrid arrangement.
What the Company Offers
- ▪ Paid 8 to 10-week summer internship with hands-on project responsibilities.
- ▪ Monthly salary of PLN 9,500 gross for roles based in Poland/Krakow (compensation for other locations discussed during interviews).
- ▪ Opportunity for top performers to secure a position on the full-time Graduate Programme following graduation.
- ▪ Relocation package including visa assistance, travel costs, and accommodation support (conditions apply).
- ▪ Direct mentorship and technical guidance from experienced iOS software engineers.
Application Tips
- Applicants may want to highlight their experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and mobile application development in their CV and portfolio. Including direct links to GitHub repositories, personal iOS projects, or contributions to open-source software will clearly showcase your practical coding skills. Emphasize familiarity with software engineering practices such as MVVM architecture, Test-Driven Development, or reactive programming where relevant. In addition, highlighting past experiences that showcase effective team communication and systematic problem-solving will strengthen your profile.
