Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- ▪ Construct and maintain TypeScript backend services that process real-time operational data from active mine sites.
- ▪ Design, test, and ship production features end-to-end for real-world industrial users.
- ▪ Build applied artificial intelligence capabilities using Large Language Models (LLMs) like Claude, GPT, and Gemini for data analysis and process automation.
- ▪ Contribute to computer vision pipelines utilizing LLM integrations alongside services such as AWS Rekognition and TensorFlow.
- ▪ Deploy production code through Kubernetes container orchestration using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- ▪ Engage directly with operational end-users to translate physical mining challenges into functional software features.
- ▪ Collaborate closely with senior engineering leadership and the CEO to receive direct technical mentorship and skill development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ▪ Current academic standing as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
- ▪ Strong foundation in core computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- ▪ Demonstrated proficiency using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
- ▪ Willingness and capability to work across different layers of the software engineering stack.
Preferred Qualifications
- ▪ Previous software engineering internship experience or project work within a live production codebase.
- ▪ Practical development experience with TypeScript.
- ▪ Prior background or project exposure in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or computer vision architectures.
