Job Overview
- Netic is offering 12-week full-time internship opportunities for Full-Stack Software Engineers on its core product engineering team in San Francisco. As an artificial intelligence platform designed for essential service industries across North America, Netic builds customer-facing systems that transform complex AI capabilities into practical, high-impact business tools.
- In this on-site role, product engineering interns will take full ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, translating customer workflows and operational feedback into production-grade software. The technical stack spans React, TypeScript, Python, database architectures, and cloud infrastructure, alongside exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- ▪ Design, code, and deploy full-stack agentic features across Netic's AI software platform.
- ▪ Engage directly with customers to analyze operational workflows, gather feedback, and convert pain points into product features.
- ▪ Manage end-to-end product delivery from initial technical specifications to live production deployment.
- ▪ Architect relational database models, backend APIs, clean frontend interfaces, and post-launch feature iterations.
- ▪ Test, monitor, and maintain application features in live production environments to ensure system quality and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ▪ Track record of building and launching user-facing software applications across multiple release cycles.
- ▪ Strong full-stack programming fluency in React, TypeScript, and Python.
- ▪ Practical experience working with databases and cloud infrastructure setups.
- ▪ Demonstrated customer empathy and the ability to translate stakeholder goals into technical specifications.
- ▪ Strong product ownership mindset with the capacity to write clean code rapidly in ambiguous environments.
- ▪ Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills for explaining architectural trade-offs and business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- ▪ Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs, vector embeddings, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns.
Company Culture & Core Values
- ▪ Strong commitment to building impactful software and executing with craftsmanship.
- ▪ Customer obsession embedded into every line of code.
- ▪ Internal locus of control, high accountability, and continuous execution from first principles.
What the Company Offers
- ▪ 12-week full-time internship program working directly on core software products.
- ▪ Opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering team members from leading tech companies and research institutions.
- ▪ On-site work experience in San Francisco.
Application Tips
- Applicants may want to highlight user-facing web applications or full-stack software projects they have designed, built, and shipped in their CV and portfolio. Demonstrating proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Python through GitHub repositories or live project links will showcase technical readiness. If you have experience integrating LLM APIs, embeddings, or RAG architectures, detailing those projects can be particularly beneficial. Additionally, emphasizing past experiences where you gathered user feedback, translated customer requirements into technical features, or managed end-to-end product delivery will strengthen your profile.
