Job OverviewThis remote advisory position involves collaborating with a top-tier foundational artificial intelligence laboratory to improve and train upcoming language models on complex corporate deliverables. The work entails designing, assessing, and polishing technical documents, structured spreadsheets, and presentation decks across specialized engineering and data workflows. Typical output domains include system architecture decision records, data pipeline and ETL documentation, model validation reports, API integration manuals, and developer onboarding materials. This flexible contract role is well suited for mid- to senior-level software engineers, data architects, and machine learning practitioners who possess exceptional technical writing skills, analytical rigor, and hands-on experience evaluating system readiness and technical trade-offs.
Key Responsibilities
- • Produce, assess, and refine technical documentation, spreadsheets, and presentation materials generated by advanced artificial intelligence models.
- • Review outputs related to technical design documents, system architecture decision records, and API specification guides.
- • Develop and polish documentation covering data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality test plans.
- • Formulate AI system readiness evaluations, model performance reports, and system architecture diagrams.
- • Create detailed developer onboarding guides and document technical trade-offs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer, data engineer, or AI/ML practitioner.
- • Proven expertise in writing comprehensive technical design documents, API specifications, or data pipeline documentation.
- • Direct experience assessing model performance or system readiness and articulating engineering trade-offs.
- • Expert-level mastery of document, spreadsheet, and slide creation alongside superior written communication skills.
