This role centers on reviewing, organizing, and standardizing the company's security infrastructure, program documentation, and operational procedures. The successful candidate will work to capture institutional knowledge, update standard operating procedures, structure security SharePoint repositories, and develop essential security playbooks and toolkits. Additionally, the role involves evaluating audit readiness, identifying process gaps, and helping determine long-term staffing and security system requirements. This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented security professional with a background in government security administration who excels at recordkeeping, process mapping, and maintaining operational compliance within a cleared facility environment.
Key Responsibilities
- • Gain familiarity with the organization's existing security framework and operational procedures.
- • Conduct thorough reviews of current standard operating procedures, templates, SharePoint assets, and contract documentation.
- • Pinpoint organizational priorities and identify existing workflow or process gaps.
- • Capture and document historical practices and institutional security knowledge.
- • Revise and update standard operating procedures across the security program.
- • Systematize the Security SharePoint site by standardizing folder structures, document templates, and operational checklists.
- • Structure and maintain contract-specific security files and records.
- • Drive ongoing knowledge transfer initiatives and complete detailed process mapping.
- • Formulate the Security Program Playbook and Facility Security Officer (FSO) Toolkit.
- • Assess documentation related to inspection preparedness and audit readiness.
- • Review the overall effectiveness of part-time security support to guide future program decisions.
- • Analyze operational needs for government security system access, including DISS, NISS, NBIS, SWFT, and Fieldprint.
- • Appraise long-term security staffing requirements to determine optimal future resource allocation.

- • Background in security administration within a cleared facility or an equivalent government security setting.
- • Practical knowledge of NISPOM guidelines, DCSA operational processes, and DISS systems.
