Job OverviewAn operational opportunity is available for a dedicated Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee quality standards within an industrial setup in Karachi. The role focuses heavily on maintaining rigorous Quality Management Systems (QMS), establishing comprehensive Project Quality Plans, and performing routine inspections of mechanical machinery and system components. Key duties involve conducting operational audits, developing essential Quality Control documentation such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements, and executing thorough root-cause investigations when equipment defects or non-conformities arise. Furthermore, this position plays an integral part in mentoring entry-level technical personnel to build organizational quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Implement and sustain Quality Management Systems (QMS) alongside specialized Project Quality Plans across operations.
- ★ Conduct technical inspections, systematic testing, and comprehensive quality audits on mechanical machinery and systems.
- ★ Formulate and review Method Statements together with detailed Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- ★ Perform root cause analysis regarding product or operational defects and execute appropriate corrective action plans.
- ★ Verify that all engineering deliverables consistently fulfill client specifications and established industry benchmarks.
- ★ Compile, update, and manage technical quality logs, audit records, and progress reports.
- ★ Deliver structured technical training and operational guidance to entry-level quality assurance personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Academic background holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- ★ Demonstrated professional experience of at least three years specializing in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
- ★ Practical experience gained within a mechanical engineering firm is strongly preferred.
- ★ Full flexibility and readiness to work on a rotating shift schedule as required by site operations.
- ★ Residence or willingness to commute from nearby localities such as Landhi, Korangi, or Shah Faisal Colony is preferred.
