- An international engineering team is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer for a full-time, remote position operating during U.S. business hours. This position involves taking complete hands-on ownership of product features across user interfaces, backend APIs, database management, and cloud architecture.
- The technical environment utilizes Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, strict TypeScript, Python 3.13, and FastAPI. Core tasks include engineering multi-service applications, configuring asynchronous background workers using Celery and Redis, designing relational and graph database systems across PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and Neo4j, and managing cloud deployments within Microsoft Azure. Developers will also build advanced features such as real-time messaging, complex data visualization tools, and LLM/RAG integrations. This opportunity is well-suited for senior full-stack engineers who excel at independent feature ownership, enforce rigorous automated testing practices, and maintain clear technical communication.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Architect and build production-grade web interfaces using Next.js 16, React 19, strict TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS v4.
- ★ Develop robust backend services and asynchronous APIs utilizing Python 3.13, FastAPI, Pydantic v2, and Celery with Redis.
- ★ Design and manage database schemas, migrations, and data flows using PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Neo4j graph databases, and MongoDB.
- ★ Establish multi-service communication pipelines using inter-service HTTP requests, Redis message brokers, and background worker queues.
- ★ Create automated test suites, implementing component tests with Vitest and end-to-end test scripts via Playwright.
- ★ Implement complex user interface components including AG Grid Enterprise tables, interactive canvases, PDF tools, and Tiptap rich text editors.
- ★ Integrate real-time capabilities and third-party tools such as Socket.IO, WebRTC, telephony services, and LLM/RAG embedding models.
- ★ Maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment setups using Azure services, Docker Compose, and pnpm monorepo workspaces.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Minimum of 6 years of experience engineering and deploying production web applications.
- ★ At least 3 years of experience taking end-to-end technical ownership across both frontend UI and backend API layers.
- ★ Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js App Router, server/client architectural boundaries, and state management tools.
- ★ Advanced proficiency in Python and FastAPI, or equivalent depth in modern web frameworks like Django or Flask.
- ★ Solid experience with relational database modeling, schema migrations, and ORMs such as SQLAlchemy, SQLModel, and Alembic.
- ★ Proven experience developing within multi-service architectures involving inter-service HTTP communication, Redis, and workers.
- ★ Strong commitment to automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and component testing.
- ★ Demonstrated written communication skills and the ability to author clear, maintainable code modules.
- ★ Exposure to graph databases (Neo4j), Azure cloud services, complex UI widgets, real-time communication protocols, or LLM/RAG workflows (strongly preferred).
