Job OverviewPush Digits Chartered Accountants is seeking a skilled accounting professional for a full-time, remote position based in Karachi, serving clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This position centers on managing end-to-end accounting processes, preparing financial documentation, and ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian tax regulations. Key focus areas include navigating local tax frameworks such as Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Zakat, and Corporate Income Tax, along with utilizing e-invoicing platforms like ZATCA and FATOORA. Additionally, the role involves performing routine bookkeeping, conducting account reconciliations, and delivering financial reports aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This opportunity is well-matched for detail-oriented financial professionals who possess practical expertise in Saudi Arabian regulatory standards and wish to manage client financial portfolios remotely while maintaining high standards of reporting accuracy and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Deliver comprehensive accounting and financial services to corporate clients operating within Saudi Arabia.
- ★ Prepare, manage, and submit documentation for Saudi tax requirements, including VAT, WHT, Zakat, and Corporate Income Tax.
- ★ Execute electronic invoicing procedures and maintain compliance using ZATCA and FATOORA platforms.
- ★ Perform routine ledger management, general bookkeeping, and systematic account reconciliations.
- ★ Generate accurate financial reports in compliance with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, ideally working with Saudi Arabian client accounts.
- ★ Demonstrated practical expertise in Saudi tax regulations, including VAT, Withholding Tax, Zakat, and Corporate Income Tax.
- ★ Hands-on proficiency with ZATCA and FATOORA e-invoicing systems.
- ★ Proven ability in general bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- ★ Solid knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs accounting frameworks.
- ★ Practical familiarity with Xero accounting software is preferred.
- ★ Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- ★ Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
- ★ ACCA, CA, or CMA qualification, finalist standing, or part-qualified status is considered an advantage.
- ★ Willingness to undergo a practical accounting and taxation assessment during the selection process.
Who May Be a Good Fit for This Role? This role may be suitable for candidates who possess a solid foundation in accounting principles alongside hands-on experience handling tax compliance for Saudi Arabian entities. Financial professionals who are well-versed in navigating ZATCA e-invoicing systems, calculating Zakat, and managing VAT filings will find their skill set closely aligned with the operational requirements. Additionally, individuals who thrive in independent work environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail during ledger reconciliations and IFRS-compliant reporting are likely to succeed. Candidates holding or pursuing professional certifications like ACCA, CA, or CMA who seek a remote role serving international clients may find this opportunity appealing.
Application TipsApplicants may want to highlight relevant experience with Saudi tax compliance, specifically detailing their familiarity with ZATCA, FATOORA, VAT, and Zakat submissions. In your resume, clearly emphasize past responsibilities involving financial statement preparation under IFRS standards and any hands-on usage of accounting software such as Xero and advanced Microsoft Excel tools. Candidates holding ACCA, CA, or CMA credentials or progress should ensure these qualifications are prominently featured. Because shortlisted applicants will undergo a practical tax and accounting evaluation, preparing example scenarios or reviewing Saudi regulatory guidelines prior to assessment can be beneficial for demonstrating your practical competence.
