Sofitel Dubai Downtown, a luxury 5-star hotel property under the Accor portfolio situated near landmarks like The Dubai Mall in Downtown Dubai, is seeking an IT Intern to join its technology department. The property features 31 floors of guest rooms, suites, restaurants, and leisure facilities, requiring consistent and secure technological operations to support daily business and hospitality functions.
In this full-time internship role, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining core IT systems, coordinating equipment restoration, and preventing technical disruptions. Core tasks involve establishing and executing routine data backups, carrying out data recovery operations, and investigating software fault reports. Additionally, the intern will work on software enhancement requests in line with established service level agreements. This position is well suited for motivated candidates with strong foundational knowledge of hardware, software.

→ Coordinate required equipment restoration and critical technical repairs to maintain continuous system operations and prevent service disruptions.
→ Implement and maintain routine data backup routines while performing data recovery operations to protect organizational information assets.
→ Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported software defects and enhancement requests in compliance with target timelines and service level agreements.
