- Bold+Beyond, a growing digital agency and consulting firm based in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer for a full-time or contract US remote position. The agency builds high-performance digital products, web applications, and interactive platforms for a client portfolio ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to fast-growing startups, including HUM Nutrition, Privé Revaux, SureSale, Agnetix, and Clay AIR. Working alongside product managers, designers, and engineering teams, the full-stack developer will lead technical implementations across both client-side and server-side architectures. This role involves architecting complex digital solutions, building intuitive CMS and web application interfaces, managing cloud infrastructure, and writing maintainable, clean code. Key Responsibilities
- ❖ Architect and develop scalable web applications and content-managed websites that support strategic business goals.
- ❖ Build client-side user interfaces and server-side systems using modern JavaScript frameworks and PHP technology stacks.
- ❖ Define digital product architecture in coordination with the Digital Product Director to satisfy complex client requirements.
- ❖ Deploy, manage, and optimize web applications using cloud deployment systems, server environments, and DevOps platforms.
- ❖ Implement, test, and maintain responsive web solutions optimized across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
- ❖ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, quality assurance, and engineering to execute new features.
- ❖ Deliver clean, modular, and well-tested code while adhering to established project timelines and delivery schedules.
- ❖ Conduct peer code reviews to analyze code quality, share knowledge, and promote technical best practices across the team.
- ❖ Construct user-friendly administrative interfaces for seamless content management and data manipulation.
- ❖ Develop custom internal APIs, tools, and third-party API integrations to extend web application capabilities.
- ❖ Mentor junior technical team members and provide ongoing engineering support and architectural guidance.
- ❖ Write automated test suites and conduct continuous testing to safeguard application stability and performance.
- ❖ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical bugs, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks.
- ❖ Research emerging web technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to evaluate potential implementation across client builds.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ❖ Minimum 5 years of professional experience building web experiences, including at least 2 years dedicated to web application development.
- ❖ Proven track record as a primary developer on multi-year application builds from initial concept to deployment.
- ❖ Deep understanding of software design principles, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Functional Programming, algorithms, and data structures.
- ❖ Expertise in designing clean, scalable, and maintainable software architectures without over-engineering.
