Job Overview
- PhenTech is inviting applications for a full-time, remote Frontend Developer Internship based in Pakistan. This position offers emerging web developers the opportunity to gain practical industry experience by building, maintaining, and refining responsive web interfaces within active project environments. Working in close collaboration with senior software engineers, the intern will translate UI/UX design mockups from Figma into fully functional web pages using core frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Bootstrap, and jQuery. Additionally, the role involves integrating user interfaces into backend frameworks such as ASP.NET, .NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core, as well as leveraging modern AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Build responsive, user-centric web pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- ★ Translate design specifications and Figma mockups into accurate, cross-browser compatible web interfaces.
- ★ Collaborate with senior development staff to connect frontend components with ASP.NET and .NET application environments.
- ★ Update, optimize, and maintain existing frontend codebases across various live web projects.
- ★ Diagnose and resolve user interface defects, responsiveness flaws, and fundamental JavaScript issues.
- ★ Conduct comprehensive testing across multiple web browsers and screen resolutions to ensure consistent functionality.
- ★ Contribute directly to ongoing development workflows within ASP.NET, .NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core frameworks.
- ★ Utilize AI-driven coding assistants such as ChatGPT, Codex, and GitHub Copilot appropriately and responsibly during development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Strong foundational proficiency in core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- ★ Solid working knowledge of Bootstrap 4/5 frameworks and the jQuery library.
- ★ Fundamental understanding of ASP.NET, .NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core web architectures.
- ★ Demonstrated capability to convert Figma UI designs into clean, responsive web pages.
- ★ Basic knowledge of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design concepts.
- ★ Practical familiarity with version control systems including Git and GitHub.
- ★ Effective problem-solving capabilities and basic frontend debugging skills.
- ★ Familiarity or practical experience with AI-assisted software development tools is considered an advantage.
- ★ Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
