Job Overview
- YO AI LABS is seeking a Design & Frontend Specialist for a remote contractor position supporting a key customer project focused on design, UX, and frontend technical reasoning for AI training. Based out of Maryland, USA with complete remote flexibility, this position requires no prior background in artificial intelligence. The role centers on evaluating design systems, analyzing frontend architectural trade-offs, and documenting technical rationale. Professionals in this position will draft, review, and analyze high-level technical documentation, including RFCs, ADRs, design specifications, and research reports. Ideal candidates bring a strong foundation in product design, UI/UX, and modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, combined with exceptional analytical writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Evaluate complex design and frontend engineering challenges while providing clear technical explanations for decisions.
- ★ Author, review, and refine design documents, research summaries, requests for comments (RFCs), and architectural decision records (ADRs).
