Job Overview
- ExpertVoice is seeking a creative and inquisitive Frontend / AI Engineer to help build next-generation product experiences powered by artificial intelligence. This remote position blends client-side web development, server-side API integration, and fast-paced prototyping to connect large language models—such as GPT, Claude, and Gemini—with practical, user-facing applications.
- In this role, you will construct intuitive React interfaces that make complex AI outputs accessible and engaging for users. While a deep academic background in machine learning is not required, candidates need a solid foundation in modern web technologies, custom CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and asynchronous API integration. Working alongside product managers and backend developers, you will also help build internal tools for data evaluation and content workflows, occasionally working in Python or backend frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- ▪ Create interactive web features that connect large language models (including GPT, Claude, and Gemini) via API endpoints.
- ▪ Rapidly build and refine prototypes, converting early concepts into fully functional user interfaces and internal tools.
- ▪ Develop responsive React front-end experiences designed to make intricate AI-generated responses intuitive for end users.
- ▪ Partner with backend engineering teams to design supporting APIs, asynchronous workflows, and data pipelines.
- ▪ Work across the application stack, integrating React front-end components with Python backend services when required.
- ▪ Test and experiment with new LLM capabilities, prompt engineering techniques, and third-party software libraries.
- ▪ Build internal tools that support data sanitization, model evaluation, and automated content generation workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ▪ Proven engineering background in front-end or full-stack software development with strong custom CSS capability.
- ▪ Technical proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript alongside hands-on experience using React.
- ▪ Experience constructing asynchronous web applications, consuming RESTful APIs, and handling JSON data structures.
- ▪ Prior experience building prototypes or projects that utilize large language model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini).
- ▪ Familiarity or working experience with backend environments such as Python or Java, and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Spring Boot.

Schedule & Work Location Details
- ▪ Fully remote work environment open to candidates residing anywhere within the Continental United States.
- ▪ Core working hours require availability from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Mountain Time (MT), Monday through Friday, with remaining hours scheduled in coordination with management.
