Job OverviewAn expanding multi-business group based in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced, strategic-minded Financial Manager to oversee its comprehensive financial operations and group-wide fiscal planning. Beyond conventional accounting functions, this pivotal position requires an active leadership presence capable of protecting corporate assets, guiding strategic financial decisions, and working closely alongside the CEO and senior business leaders. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end financial workflows including budgeting, treasury management, tax and regulatory compliance for both UAE and Saudi jurisdictions, financial reporting, and external audit readiness. Additionally, the role involves conducting commercial contract reviews, tracking digital and physical group assets, and building a high-performing internal finance team. This opportunity is exceptionally well-suited for a seasoned, bilingual finance leader with at least seven years of management expertise, deep knowledge of regional Middle Eastern taxation, and the confidence to interact directly with executive leadership
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Develop group-level budgets and prepare detailed management reports for executive evaluation.
- ★ Direct treasury operations by supervising accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall cash flow balance.
- ★ Oversee regulatory compliance, corporate tax filings, and VAT obligations across UAE and Saudi Arabia operations.
- ★ Supervise employee payroll processing, disbursements, and related organizational financial administration.
- ★ Conduct thorough commercial and financial evaluations of business contracts and vendor agreements.
- ★ Cultivate and maintain positive professional relationships with banking partners, external auditors, clients, and third-party stakeholders.
- ★ Track, register, and monitor physical and digital assets across all group operations.
- ★ Generate and deliver comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial performance reports to the CEO and management board.
- ★ Establish internal financial controls and ensure complete organizational audit readiness.
- ★ Build, mentor, and direct the growth and performance of the internal finance department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in finance management.
- ★ Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
- ★ Comprehensive understanding of UAE and Saudi Arabian financial regulations, corporate tax laws, and VAT compliance.
- ★ Proactive leadership style with the capacity to assume complete ownership of financial operations and act autonomously.
- ★ Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the confidence to communicate effectively with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
