- U.S. Compliance is offering a spring semester Environmental Compliance Internship running from January through June. This part-time position offers students in their final semester of undergraduate or graduate studies the opportunity to gain practical industry experience while maintaining a flexible schedule of 20 to 25 hours per week.
- Interns will work alongside specialized teams within Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know (EPCRA), Waste & Water, and Air departments. The core focus of this internship involves evaluating manufacturing facilities against regulatory frameworks, compiling environmental documentation, and preparing federal, state, and local regulatory filings, specifically Tier II hazardous material storage reports.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Evaluate manufacturing and industrial client operations to determine regulatory applicability and compliance standing.
- ★ Gather, review, and update essential data for local, state, and federal environmental reporting obligations.
- ★ Prepare and submit Tier II hazardous material storage reports in alignment with environmental regulations.
- ★ Partner with internal EPCRA, Air, and Waste & Water departments to support routine environmental compliance workflows.
- ★ Perform remote administrative and data-analysis tasks, with opportunities to conduct on-site visits to local client facilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
