Job Overview
- Go Fish Digital, a digital marketing agency operating within the Agital collective, is seeking a curious and collaborative Design Intern (Design Apprentice) to join its team remotely. This apprenticeship program offers emerging design talent the opportunity to work directly alongside experienced Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Strategists, and Copywriters. Interns contribute to real-world client deliverables across brand identity, UI/UX design, print media, paid digital advertising, and organic social media channels.
- In this role, the intern will develop practical design craft and professional judgment through day-to-day creative practice, constructive design reviews, and mentorship. The position also incorporates modern design workflows, encouraging the responsible exploration of approved AI-assisted tools for research, ideation, and moodboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Assist Art Directors and senior designers in brainstorming, concepting, and producing creative assets for client deliverables across UI/UX, brand identity, print, paid media, and social channels.
- ★ Craft and adapt polished, channel-specific visual assets that align with client brand guidelines.
- ★ Work collaboratively with strategic and copywriting groups to pair visual design with written brand storytelling.
- ★ Take part in creative brainstorming sessions, design research, concept exploration, and team feedback reviews.
- ★ Assist with internal agency marketing collateral and additional strategic creative projects.
- ★ Prepare production-ready design files, maintain organized asset libraries, and ensure high quality and accuracy throughout design workflows.
- ★ Utilize approved AI-assisted applications to assist in research, ideation, moodboard development, and asset generation efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Portfolio showcasing visual design thinking and a solid foundation in graphic design, visual communication, or marketing.
- ★ Working proficiency with industry-standard design software, including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
- ★ Core understanding of fundamental design principles, including typography, color theory, layout composition, and visual hierarchy.
- ★ Current enrollment in, recent completion of, or equivalent practical experience in a degree program focused on Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or Communications.
- ★ Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows (such as ChatGPT or Claude) for research, ideation, and visual exploration, combined with an understanding of responsible tool usage.
- ★ Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while communicating progress effectively.
- ★ Receptive approach to creative feedback, strong collaborative spirit, and proactive problem-solving attitude.
Eligibility & Work Authorization
- ★ Applicants must possess existing work authorization, as visa sponsorship or visa transfers are not available for this position.

Detailing your proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as any experience using AI tools for research or moodboarding, can illustrate technical readiness.
