Job Overview

Go Fish Digital, a marketing agency operating under the parent organization Agital, is seeking an emerging creative professional for an immediate remote Design Apprenticeship. This role connects aspiring designers with multidisciplinary teams, including Art Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists, to develop creative solutions for a diverse client base. Interns participate in hands-on projects spanning brand identity, user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design, print collateral, paid digital media, and social media assets. In addition to visual design work, participants learn how to combine strategic narrative with design principles, while incorporating approved AI tools for research, ideation, and visual moodboarding. This apprenticeship focuses on developing professional design judgement, technical execution, and collaborative production capabilities within a modern agency setting. It provides an entry point for creative individuals eager to refine their portfolio, gain real-world client exposure, and build practical skills under experienced mentorship.

★ Assist Art Directors and Senior Designers in developing concepts and creative assets across brand identity, print, UI/UX, paid media, and social channels.
★ Generate polished visual elements aligned with specific client branding and platform specifications.
★ Partner with copywriting and strategy teams to integrate visual design with compelling brand narratives.
★ Participate in creative research, brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and preliminary concept exploration.
★ Help create internal marketing collateral and support administrative creative initiatives as required.
★ Maintain file organization, prepare production-ready deliverables, and uphold quality standards throughout design workflows.
★ Utilize approved AI-assisted technologies ethically for preliminary research, visual moodboarding, and workflow optimization.

★ Current enrollment in, recent completion of, or equivalent practical experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related discipline.
★ Portfolio demonstrating strong visual thinking, design fundamentals, layout, typography, and color theory.
★ Working proficiency in design applications including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
★ Interest in designing across varied formats, such as digital, print, social media, and brand identity systems.
★ Basic familiarity with AI-powered ideation tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude) and image exploration utilities.
★ Understanding of responsible AI usage, including respect for intellectual property, brand guidelines, accessibility, and client confidentiality.
★ Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
★ Receptive attitude toward constructive design feedback and strong written and verbal communication skills.

This role may be suitable for candidates who are early in their design careers, including recent graduates or current students in visual communication, graphic design, or digital marketing. It idealizes individuals who are proactive, curious about modern agency workflows, and motivated to improve their technical design craft through hands-on practice and structured feedback. Candidates who feel comfortable working in a remote environment while maintaining active team communication will find this setup fitting. Additionally, designers interested in leveraging modern technologies, such as approved AI tools, alongside traditional design software like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud to streamline creative research and ideation will be well-aligned with the team's operational approach.

Applicants may want to highlight a well-organized portfolio link that showcases foundational design principles, clean typography, effective layout structures, and visual storytelling across various mediums. Demonstrating proficiency in Figma and Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign through real-world or academic projects will strengthen an application. Candidates should also mention any practical experience using AI tools for moodboarding or conceptual research, emphasizing a clear understanding of ethical tool usage and client privacy. Clearly outlining active student status, recent graduation details, or equivalent self-taught visual design achievements on your resume will help the reviewing team assess your readiness for this remote apprenticeship.
