Job OverviewGo Fish Digital, a marketing agency operating under the parent organization Agital, is seeking an emerging creative professional for an immediate remote Design Apprenticeship. This role connects aspiring designers with multidisciplinary teams, including Art Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists, to develop creative solutions for a diverse client base. Interns participate in hands-on projects spanning brand identity, user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design, print collateral, paid digital media, and social media assets. In addition to visual design work, participants learn how to combine strategic narrative with design principles, while incorporating approved AI tools for research, ideation, and visual moodboarding. This apprenticeship focuses on developing professional design judgement, technical execution, and collaborative production capabilities within a modern agency setting. It provides an entry point for creative individuals eager to refine their portfolio, gain real-world client exposure, and build practical skills under experienced mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- ★ Assist Art Directors and Senior Designers in developing concepts and creative assets across brand identity, print, UI/UX, paid media, and social channels.
- ★ Generate polished visual elements aligned with specific client branding and platform specifications.
- ★ Partner with copywriting and strategy teams to integrate visual design with compelling brand narratives.
- ★ Participate in creative research, brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and preliminary concept exploration.
- ★ Help create internal marketing collateral and support administrative creative initiatives as required.
- ★ Maintain file organization, prepare production-ready deliverables, and uphold quality standards throughout design workflows.
- ★ Utilize approved AI-assisted technologies ethically for preliminary research, visual moodboarding, and workflow optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Current enrollment in, recent completion of, or equivalent practical experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- ★ Portfolio demonstrating strong visual thinking, design fundamentals, layout, typography, and color theory.
- ★ Working proficiency in design applications including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- ★ Interest in designing across varied formats, such as digital, print, social media, and brand identity systems.
- ★ Basic familiarity with AI-powered ideation tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude) and image exploration utilities.
- ★ Understanding of responsible AI usage, including respect for intellectual property, brand guidelines, accessibility, and client confidentiality.
