Key Responsibilities
- ★ Construct, deploy, and manage scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, and related software tools.
- ★ Utilize AI-assisted development tools and coding agents to accelerate pipeline creation and workflow efficiency.
- ★ Write enterprise-grade code to establish repeatable, standardized processes across organizational systems.
- ★ Operationalize data pipelines and enhance overall data accuracy and quality within analytics architectures.
- ★ Work collaboratively with data architects, data engineers, and data science professionals on multi-disciplinary projects.
- ★ Partner with internal business units to support data strategy initiatives, process enhancements, and system performance.
- ★ Draft thorough, accurate, and business-ready technical documentation for engineering workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ★ Current enrollment in a graduate degree program in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
- ★ Anticipated degree completion date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- ★ Strong quantitative analysis, logical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- ★ Practical working knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL, GitHub, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- ★ Effective written and verbal communication skills with the capability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- ★ Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy while working under time-sensitive project deadlines.
- ★ Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot is advantageous but not strictly required.
