Job Overview

SinoPak is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to oversee and maintain its cloud infrastructure and live production server environment in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time, on-site role is designed specifically for a dedicated cloud and systems infrastructure specialist rather than a general desktop or IT support technician.
The position involves administering production environments, implementing automated deployment pipelines, managing containerized architectures, and configuring cloud services across providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additionally, the engineer will manage database systems, configure web servers, control network security and firewalls, and maintain system monitoring and disaster recovery protocols. Candidates who possess advanced familiarity with container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and high-availability frameworks will find this opportunity well aligned with their technical background.

★ Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, live production servers, web applications, and deployment operations.
★ Administer Linux server environments, maintain Git version control, and write automated Bash/Shell scripts.
★ Configure, deploy, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines alongside Docker containerized systems across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
★ Manage web server configurations (Nginx/Apache), DNS records, SSL security certificates, and Cloudflare integrations.
★ Administer and optimize relational databases and in-memory data stores including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
★ Implement system monitoring and logging tools, configure network firewalls, enforce security policies, and maintain disaster recovery protocols.

★ 3 or more years of dedicated, hands-on experience managing live production servers, web applications, and cloud deployments (strictly excluding general IT or desktop support roles).
★ Advanced proficiency in Linux Server Administration, Git version control, and Bash/Shell scripting.
★ Extensive practical experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker containerization, and CI/CD setup.
★ Deep understanding of web server administration (Nginx/Apache), DNS management, SSL certificates, and Cloudflare services.
★ Hands-on expertise with databases and caching systems, specifically MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
★ Demonstrated ability to implement logging/monitoring systems, firewall configurations, network security measures, and backup/disaster recovery protocols.
★ Strong advantage for candidates with exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Prometheus/Grafana, Load Balancing, High Availability architectures, or GPU/CUDA environments.
