Job Overview
- O’Cyber is seeking a motivated Backend Intern or Junior Backend Developer to join its technical team on-site in PWD, Islamabad. This entry-level position is designed for fresh computer science graduates or software developers with up to one year of experience who are eager to translate their academic programming knowledge into practical application. In this role, the candidate will engage in hands-on backend development, focusing on problem-solving, database management, and client-server interactions. Working alongside experienced engineers, the developer will construct backend components using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go, while handling essential database operations and API integration.
Key Responsibilities
- ▪ Apply core programming fundamentals, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) to solve technical challenges during hands-on backend development.
- ▪ Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and client-server architectures using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go.
- ▪ Construct and execute database queries, structure data relationships, and implement standard CRUD operations.
- ▪ Collaborate with team members, receive constructive feedback, and continuously refine codebase performance and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ▪ Educational background consisting of a degree in Computer Science (BSCS), Software Engineering (BSSE), Information Technology (BSIT), or an equivalent field.
- ▪ Professional experience level ranging from fresh university graduates up to 1 year of hands-on software development experience.
