Job Overview

The RRS Group is seeking driven undergraduate students for the position of Associate Software Engineer Intern. Designed specifically for college sophomores, this highly selective internship program offers nine openings for the 2027 cohort. The role provides hands-on engineering experience within an international corporate environment, allowing students to apply academic knowledge to real-world technical projects.
Working alongside experienced software engineers, interns contribute to the design, testing, and enhancement of software applications and enterprise technology platforms. The position accommodates remote work arrangements and offers flexible scheduling tailored to global departmental requirements. Throughout the internship, participants build technical proficiency across various programming stacks, engage in Agile team workflows, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to deliver scalable software solutions.

★ Assist engineering teams in building, testing, and refining internal software applications and technology platforms.
★ Write, evaluate, and debug code across software systems with guidance from senior technology mentors.

★ Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, testing routines, and defect troubleshooting.

★ Engage in Agile framework practices, standup meetings, and iterative development cycles.

★ Prior experience in software engineering internships, co-op placements, or practical software projects.
★ Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and core software engineering concepts.
★ Familiarity with version control workflows using Git or similar repositories.
★ Exposure to web application development and frontend or backend technology stacks.
★ Basic understanding of database design, data modeling, and SQL query creation.
★ Knowledge of API architectures and system integration techniques.
★ Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern infrastructure, and automated testing tools.
★ Practical exposure to Agile/Scrum team environments and collaborative methodologies.
★ Experience compiling clear technical documentation and user guides.
