Job Overview

An opportunity is available for an Associate Software Engineer based in Johar Town, Lahore, to assist in building and maintaining Python-based software applications under the mentorship of experienced development team leads. The position focuses on delivering clean, maintainable, and reusable code while strictly adhering to organizational coding standards and software design best practices.
In this role, the associate will work closely with cross-functional teams—including quality assurance engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers—to analyze technical requirements, conduct unit testing, resolve software bugs, and create clear documentation. Additionally, the position offers practical exposure to modern software engineering areas, including enterprise application development, artificial intelligence model integration, and automated process workflows.

▪ Construct and refine Python-based applications under the supervision and guidance of senior software engineers.
▪ Write clean, maintainable, and reusable software code in alignment with established development standards and design patterns.
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including product managers, designers, and QA teams, to evaluate project requirements and technical feasibility.
▪ Engage in code review sessions to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and improve application standards.
▪ Identify, troubleshoot, and debug technical issues to deliver effective and timely software fixes.
▪ Execute unit tests and write technical documentation for software modules and application components.
▪ Keep up to date with modern Python libraries, tools, and frameworks to enhance overall engineering productivity.
▪ Participate in software design and architectural discussions for upcoming project implementations.
▪ Assist with the ongoing maintenance, expansion, and enhancement of existing software systems.

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS), Software Engineering (BSSE), Information Technology (BSIT), Artificial Intelligence (BSAI), or Data Science (BS Data Science).
▪ Position status as a fresh university graduate or having up to 6 months of software engineering experience.
▪ Solid understanding of core Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, Design Patterns, and MVC architecture.
▪ Good working knowledge of the Python programming language.
▪ Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking.
▪ Proficiency in using Git version control systems for code repository management.
▪ Foundational understanding of enterprise application development methodologies.
▪ Familiarity with artificial intelligence engineering concepts and AI-driven process automation.
▪ Familiarity with JavaScript programming is considered an asset.
